The Orientale Lumen XIII Conference will be held at the Pope John Paul II Cultural Center in northeast Washington next to the campus of The Catholic University of America. The theme of the conference will be "Monastic Spirituality for Everyday Life".

Each speaker will give a plenary session followed by a panel discussion and questions from the audience. All of the papers presented will be published and provided to the attendees in a Proceedings book after the conference.

Each participate will also receive a Liturgical book of all services during the conference to assist in their participation. Opening and closing remarks will also be made by various Church leaders in attendance.

Registration must be made in advance, at least three weeks before the conference begins.

Conference Fees are payable in advance and include all meals, materials, space usage, travel expenses for speakers, receptions and other related costs. Limited accommodations at the Washington Retreat Center, adjacent to the conference site, are available through the conference office. All rooms are air conditioned and include basic linens. Transportation is not provided.

Conference Fee $195.00 (per person for registrations paid before May 16, 2009)

Regular Registration

Conference Fee $225 (per person for registrations paid May 16, 2009 - June 15, 2009)

Accommodations $75.00/night (per person, per night)

Single Daily Rate $95.00 (includes lunch and dinner)
